I started another learning week with Tyson - All About Farm Animals.

We had fun; not sure he gets the "farm" category as now he calls most animals farm animals, haha, but it's cute still.

Summer Fun Outside

Been looking forward to warm weather so Ty could get outside.  I didn't really hope for the 103-104 degrees we had one week, but luckily that was only a week or two at the end of June.  It has calmed down again!  But this boy really likes being outside, and hey, I'm enjoying it too when we are in shade and I get a few minutes break ;)

Father's Day 2015

Happy Father's Day David!  And to our dads too!

David woke up to a little one on the bed trying to tickle him or grab his face (like every day he's home!) and then said "Happy Father's Day!".  So cute that he's able to say stuff now.

We gave Daddy a matching tie with Tyson like last year, and a Star Wars Father & Son book. I think we did good ;)  At church he got an ice cream sundae bar, lucky him!

WE are sure grateful for the Dad's in our life.  They are a great support and show such love.

Specifically David is such a great Dad, we are lucky to have him.  He is so sweet to Tyson.  They play and are silly every day.  He's a great example of having joy.  And he helps out a ton too and I can't thank him enough.  Love you babe!

Ice Cream Outing

We haven't been able to find babysitters most of this year so far, so we had a family date night mid-June that was lovely.

And Tyson is a joy to take out to eat these days.  I love doing it on my own too, but just as a family we all had a blast still.  The pizza, yum!  And the ice cream, another yum.

Summer is just wonderful not having so much homework for David.  We are being very spoiled.  I don't want it to end, that's for sure.

Food Lately

Just wanted to capture a few of our favorites or normal dinners these days.  Once we moved we got in a - sick of our food - phase and I hope we are finally moving past that.  I think being hot makes that easy too, and the fact that our kitchen is tiny, cooking isn't as enjoyable for me.  Oh well.  2 years!

This is some food we've cooked in 2015 so far...  We try to make a new meal once a month, which helps with the - sick of our food - phase we have been in.
