So you think that my work would have calmed down a little over the past few months with having enrollment over with and the company settling down with their new owners.... well, you or I was wrong!!
I've been going a bit crazy for the past few months dealing with all the CHANGES that come with a company spinning-out and becoming on their own independent. It would work if the company was ONE person, but with all of the different opinions, new hires coming in to make changes, advisors, management changes... it's just HARD. I could think of a lot of other words that also aren't nice, but I'm trying to be optimistic. "It will get better, just give it a few months" "Someday people will see that their ideas aren't going to work" "Just ignore the annoying people Andrea argh"... Wish I could say that these thoughts were helping. By the end of March I was fed up. The hardest part has been the new finance department. Remember how I graduated in Finance?!?!?!? Yeah well watching that department in chaos I'm glad I'm not doing finance now :) Basically they are creating new rules, each person different rules/forms etc and then not communicating it out and expecting us all to know what to do. And then for paying bills they come to us and ask us a million questions before paying.... Frustrating! Anyway I was so fed up that I asked my boss to help fix it... which she may have tried but the day after I found out...
She's quitting!! Yeah, my boss of 3 years just quit!! Well, she's been there over 6 years, making good $$, but now changed her manager to the CFO and within a few months she's DONE. Yeah, guess that says a lot about our company at the moment. Anyway, it's just hard. Plus I have liked my boss and with her moving out that's just another change I have to adjust to, and the potential VP's so far aren't promising and I don't work well with them....
So I'm in a funk and hoping to either successfully persuade myself that things will be looking up soon or option 2... find something new. Guess we'll see what happens...

90 Years
Grandpa Clark turned 90 years old a couple months ago and I am barely posting the photos... We definitely celebrated more than once for this feat! With my brother and sister in law we took him out to Bennihana's - we always seem to find an excuse to get us that good food! He loved watching the cooks and getting out of the house. Later that week we invited him over for dinner and a movie at our home. See, last August he moved in with David's parents and while it has been a better situation with a heated home and grandkids all around, he still needs to get out and have his own life still right? I would! He requested vegetable soup and so I attempted that, actually with cans... ha ha. And next he picked the movie the Inception - which we had to explain the whole way through. But it was great to be around him and hopefully brighten his day. He's just the cutest older man EVER! I love his stories and his attitude on life. We also celebrated with the Clarks for a Sunday dinner and a surprise party for him and those who are still around, he loved it. Being around our grandparents lately has been great to learn from them and laugh together.
Happy Birthday Grandpa Clark!!

Visiting Grandma
Since living in Utah I've been lucky to live a lot closer to my Grandma in Bountiful. I probably haven't visited her as much as I could throughout the years... But they're always good visits and usually funny memories. Many times it's when my dad's visiting Utah himself or with some of our family. Other times it's to pick Grandma up so we can fly to AZ together. And even other times I just stop by when I happen to be around Bountiful or when I owe Grandma a trip to Sizzler :) She loves that place!
It's always great to visit because it really brightens Grandma's days. I recall when I'd call just to chat she'd always ask when I was coming to visit. And when I'd visit she'll pull out her many projects or show off her flowers just like visiting when I was a kid over the summers. David & I even visited Grandma on one of our first dates after a wedding reception in Bountiful. I could tell Grandma liked him, probably because she told me over and over what a handsome man he was :)
Anyway, lately I've tried to stop by a bit more to check on Grandma for one reason or another. She's losing a lot of her memory but still loves a visit. I honestly can't believe she lives alone at 94 (?) - she really does need some in house care or something, but until then her son in Utah visits and when he can't I do. Last time I took off a whole day of work, slept in while David had spring break, and then I headed out to see grandma in the afternoons as she seems to go to bed so early these days. I check to make sure she has food, take out the trash, check her pills, and take her out for a real meal. Last time I visited she had itchy arms and we washed and put cortisone cream all over. This time I realized her phone wasn't working (which her sons call her like daily so that's not going to work!) so I proceeded to search for a Target and buy a cheep corded house phone. Grandma was funny asking me if we should ask a "man" and was so surprised that I could "install" it. hehehe.
Even though grandma may have to ask me who I am, or where we are when we're driving around Bountiful, where her keys are or she may have even cut down the neighbors tree - lost memory - it's great to visit her! I know that service makes everyone feel good, and when it's your family that you get to serve and help or just make smile and laugh sometimes - it's worth it. I know within a day she may not remember I stopped by, but I think it makes her time a little brighter at least. It makes my time a lot brighter. I wish I could hear more about her past life, but the smiles and laughter we have is enough for now. Grandma, you're the best!

My D
Just a quick spotlight on my #1 and only....
Since Father's Day is in the air..... and just because I want to (since we aren't parents yet).... Here's a bit about my David that makes me smile all the time:
Since Father's Day is in the air..... and just because I want to (since we aren't parents yet).... Here's a bit about my David that makes me smile all the time:
- David is a very busy student, employee, and husband. He does so much for me along with putting in work time at a dental office, studying all his biology and chemistry classes, cooking dinner sometimes, running errands, and even helping me get to bed on time. He's got to be tired sometime right? He only needs 6 hours of sleep he says, I need 8 :) So, it's a hit and miss on who wins the hours they want. Well, one night I walked past our study room and I just had to take a picture. He's so cute....
- David is a COOK. I had no idea when I was dating him or I would have had him cook for us more... but David served in Italy and makes some pretty nice Italian meals. My favorite part about watching him in the kitchen are the SPICES. Whether we are cooking together, he's making something, or even it's just me - he always grabs the spices (which he organized so nicely - he's good at that too) and tosses them in our dish. It always tastes better with all the spice, even though I just have no idea about spices...
- He also would DIE without hot sauce - TABASCO. The late night snack is a tortilla and cheese with Tabasco... yummy... But really everything can have Tabasco and he loves it. I think it must be an acquired taste
- Since we're on the food subject - David also loves pizza. I even like the Italian Pizza :) I'm totally craving it now. Here's him on his mission, Italy has the best food!!

- David LOVES Nintendo. Yep. He's been into it since he was a tiny boy. He still does it when he has down time. I like watching and playing with him too although he's so good I don't know who could beat him. Good thing at least I had some practice with my brother.
- David sort of has a twin - that was born 20 years after him! His little brother Daniel is the exact same as David - in characteristic, looks, Nintendo, etc. David's mom says all the time that they really should have been twins. Its fun for me to see Daniel and know how David was as a child.
- David is such a romantic. I absolutely love it. I find little notes all over the place all the time telling me how much he loves me. I find them in my wallet, in my clothes, in my granola bars, on my computer, on my car... all the time! It's so fun. One that I had to take a picture of was purely a creative masterpiece. He snuck into my house 7 days before we were married and put up a countdown chart as well as a full on note in like 100 stickies. These went up in February and I'm proud to say that Post-its really STICK because we still have them up and haven't tried to keep them up. Awe....
- I love David's little quirks - he's used to shoes always since he had so many siblings with little messes all over. He loves basketball shorts and always puts them on when he gets home. He studies all over the house depending on the day and his mood - it's a surprise for me. He LOVES going on walks with me and being outside. He burns so easily. He loves the swimming pool. He could probably live there if he could. He likes his hair short and is teaching me how to cut it with Shayla.
- David loves candy, chocolate, baking cookies and brownies, and ice cream! He could eat ice cream daily if he could....sounds great to me. Here's him caught licking the spoon :)
- David grew up not having a dishwasher so I've had the pleasure of teaching him! He's actually getting really good at it. He does so many things for me, especially if he gets home early to study, he also does laundry or cooks or dishes...
- His favorite color is red. He goes to the U. I went to the Y. But we love both schools & since he's not too much of a sports watcher, it doesn't matter.
- We had a friend make our wedding favors and we have TONS of left overs still! Luckily it's bubble gum! David loves that, and swallows it a lot, but I still love him. He loves the black ones. He also loves black liquorice and other gross flavors like that. I just wait a bit to kiss him after he eats those :)
- David's such a gentleman. He's the best husband I could have ever wanted. He takes care of me when I fall asleep on the couch and makes sure I get to bed when I need to.
- He's also persistent. Before we were dating, he never gave up on texting, calling and inviting me to activities. He did win me over and I'm hooked forever. I'm so glad he was that persistent. Isn't he just the cutest and the best?? I do say so....
Okay I could write SO MUCH more... but I'll save it for fun posts later on... I love you baby!!

Two Weeks Notice
Okay, so I just have to say.... It's getting really hard NOT to count down the days till we're getting married. I think this past week - from 3 weeks left to 2 weeks left - has been LONGER than some months.... Really! So, I even tried not to count... But alas, I walk into work and one co-worker says - how many days Andrea? (She does this everyday if she remembers) - and I said... uhh..like 3 weeks, not sure... Then 30 seconds later she says - No way, it's 16 days! You're so close!!!! Okay, so I have to say, I do love that everyone is getting in on the excitement... but man... it's LONG - 16 days is LONG. BUT, now it's 14 days!!!! (Okay, seriously, still long...)
Being engaged has been a fun time for both of us I think! (Well I guess I can't speak for David totally, but what's not to like right?) We're done planning (hopefully by now right?) and we basically did all the planning together! How fun is that? Even down to the font size and style of our return address labels :) David supports me through it all; I'm just one lucky girl. Besides planning the wedding, we've done Christmas, Thanksgiving, dates, and a few bridal showers as well which were awesome (next blog entry probably). I'm sure there's been a ton more like David's school, my PHR test, family visiting, etc etc... Now what?? Well, I'm sure to keep busy for the next 2 weeks - but it still is feeling L O N G. hahaha... 2 weeks is like the time between paychecks, or the time to put in your "Two Weeks Notice" (so love that movie!)... that's not that long right?

We're ready!!! We're giving you our TWO WEEKS NOTICE.. come celebrate with us!!! We're getting MARRIED!!!! :)

My Best Friend
I just had the BEST weekend ever. REALLY!!! One of those moments every person waits for and dreams of.... Yep....
We're engaged!!! Aren't we cute??? I haven't stopped smiling since Friday Nov 20th - when it all went down. .I'm so happy and in love. My life is taking a big turn soon and I'm just thrilled. I'm getting married to my best friend and best person in the world. I'm so lucky to have David in my life.
So, here's the brief story. Maybe it won't be so brief... we'll see. David & I met in our singles ward back at the beginning of 2009. We were friends and that was it as we continued on our seperate paths and dating others etc. David always likes to tell me how he was interested in getting to know me but had to wait till I was available - and it did finally happen on August 1st. Our first date was up in SLC by the Capital above a park called Memory Grove. That first date we had Jamba and walked through the park and chatted until we got above the park and watched the sunset over the Salt Lake Valley. That spot became "our spot". Over the next 3 months we've spent EVERY day together. I've been on cloud 9 and still am. Last week we went to AZ so David could meet my family and had a great time. I had thought the ring might have already been picked out and ready... but Wednesday last week David totally threw me off by saying we should go ring shopping sometime around Thanksgiving. I have been so excited to be engaged but figured I had a bit more waiting to do...patience Andrea right?? Well, he was just getting me off his track and also made up another story about going on a double with some friends in SLC. So we were supposidly waiting for his friend to get off work and we "happened" to drive through the area where our spot is. David casually said - yeah, lets get out and go visit our park... (I was starting to maybe suspect something but still not getting my hopes up)... We chatted a little bit and David mentioned some good memories we've had, etc... And then all the sudden he got on one knee!!!! What??? Yeah, I was in - shock mode - so as he was down there I said (in somewhat of a shocked or threatening tone) David! What are you doing???!!! He then proposed... (I just couldn't believe that the event I had dreamed of was happening right then) And I said YES!!! We took a few pics and watched the beautiful red orange sunset. Then we didn't go on the fake double date - and instead we visited family, called family, and just spent time together till we were exhausted.
Here are some responses from our announcement:
- My grandma Ginny - "We'll it's about time! We were all hoping. Now your Dad doesn't have to worry about you. We like him!"
- Grandpa Clark - "Oh great! So you finally decided huh David? That's wonderful"
(I guess our grandparents thought 3 months was too long of a wait?? :) )
- Autumn Clark (6 yr old sibling) - Wow, so what am I going to be?? (She's hoping a flower girl)
- Megan Davis (previous roommate) - She let out a blood curdling scream in the chapel about 5 min before church was starting. It scared me!!
- My mom - "Oh my gosh!! Even though I already knew... I think I'm going to cry..."
- My dad - "So, where did the momentous occation take place??"
- David's dad - "Are you sure you want to be apart of this (looking at all 9 kids running a muck)??"
- Diane & Bri - "Congratulations" - in a sing song voice...
- Eric - "Cool. ...Well, dad called and asked if I talked to you yet, so I figured..."
And I'm sure I'm missing some, but anyway... most everyone said Congrats and then begins the 100 questions - when? where? how? dresses? honeymoon? reception? food? etc etc... But we hadn't figured out details yet. All we knew was that someday soon - We're getting married!!! Yep. We're nailing some details down. So far...we've got:
Marriage Date: Friday February 12; 1:00PM; SLC Temple
Reception that night to follow somewhere
And a reception in AZ on March 20th....
Yay for us!!! Still can't stop smiling, or really focusing, or anything really. But who cares right? Once in a lifetime experience. And a forever lifetime experience together as David & Andrea Clark. I can't wait....
I'M ENGAGED!!!!! To David Clark!!!

Pumpkins
Ever since it turned "chilly"... I started saying that I wanted to go pick pumpkins!! So, it happened, yay!! David and I went with his family to pick out some good looking pumpkins in a muddy field. I still need to clean my shoes a bit from that...here's us with the pumpkins and a few of David's siblings. He's second of 9 kids...wow! They are all so cute.

After the picking, we then carved them later that weekend before Halloween. Everyone had a pumpkin, and even David's 6 year old brother had a knife and was doing some carving. Okay, so when I first get the top off my pumpkin, I hesitate a bit. I'm kind of an OCD person and the thought of sticking my hand into the seeds and goop looks a bit atrocious. BUT, I brave it and stick my hands in there...and realize - I sort of like this goopy stuff!!! What???!!??!! Yeah, I know. After running my hands around and grabbing the slime and seeds that I can, I then grab a spoon. The OCD kicks in and I'm back in the pumpkin slimy hands and all - deciding that I can probably get all the slime out of my pumpkin so that he's just as squeaky clean on the inside as the outside. I think I had pretty good success this year. So - that's my FAVORITE part of pumpkin carving - at least this is what I decided this year. After that was done - I realized I didn't have a design for my pumpkin face. I tend to do the normal pumpkin face, someday maybe I'll be more creative, but I'd rather take other's ideas and carve something cool. Not sure why, but my creativity side doesn't come out during the carving I guess. Oh well. This year I was surrounded by LOTS of cool carved pumpkins, or carvers...and I was stumped. Luckily - I had David next to me, and he gave me my idea. He's got some good creativity. I mean, you'll have to see his pumpkin - below. Mine was 3 circles, and it was great. His was like a work of art, but he was quick about it. Wow huh?!
BOO!!!

My SLC friends...
I have made some GREAT friends since I've been in my Murray area...

Then yeah... I'm pretty sure I have other friends, but mostly, I do stick around with the same crew. Here's Katie, Shayla and myself. We had fun trying to find the different parts of the maze. Really, we didn't succeed at all, but it was fun! I mean, look at this face, we had to have fun right?

Shayla is so stinkin cute! She's talented and just a great friend. Thanks Shayla for all you do. I have to say a few other things - on my birthday - I will never forget that Shayla texted me "Happy Birthday" every hour - no joke! And then her and Katie found a key to my house and were the ones who decorated it all so sweetly. They are just so amazing friends, I'm glad I found or was thrown into callings with them so we could be close all the time... And Katie is so thoughtful as well. She keeps us in line and really knows how to serve. We're crazy...
When I first got here, I met Katie - she was also new! She was tossed into the RS Presidency and she brought me along with her. And then Shayla joined us too. We've had a few 2nd Counselors, but the 3 of us at least are STICKIN it out together... for the whole year!! Sweet! Here's us at some random hike FHE activity. Sadly, our first picture together and it was like September...hhahaa.
Then I also did a little trail hike with Shayla a few weeks ago. We hiked where all the snow skiing trails will be - we saw signs for black diamonds and everything. And we weren't the smartest since we kind of forgot to take flashlights...hahaah. Luckily we survived. And had a LOT of fun! Shayla actually asked me out on a date for this activity. She's just such a fun person!! Really. You have to meet her. Her and I just laugh whenever we're together. We love to just be silly and who cares what people think of our crazy laughter? Its fun... And it was gorgeous on our hike, the pics don't do it justice.
Lastly are some pics of us at the most recent Corn Maze with the ward. First is Emily and me - she was also in the RS with us before she switched wards. I just love her, she's a very happy person and I just could depend on her for everything.
And of course, I've got to throw in one more pic - of another type of friend - Boyfriend, yes, haha David :) Awe...

Especially Annoyed
Okay, first off, I have to say I'm not a speech pathologist, speech therapist, or even an English major... BUT, my mom is... and even as a child as she would continually correct me, I'd say things wrong just to bug her. He he, I was a bad child...
Maybe I'm getting payback now. There's one word that I swear EVERYONE and their Mom and dogs say wrong and sometimes I just get so annoyed!!
Especially. Yes, that's the word. Say it now before I teach you how and maybe you do it wrong too. Remember, everyone does basically.
Why do people put an X in it??? I always hear: EXpeshuhlee. But Look above, there is no EX in it!! Seriously! And maybe I even said it wrong once. But someone pointed it out...and now I will forever hear it and just drive myself nuts!
And now, it will drive you batty too!! Sorry... :)

Double edged sword
**Side note about last post** I thought it was kind of funny - my last post I said that I evaded an embarrassing moment. Then I posted the whole story on my blog - so really I didn't avoid it did I?? Funny. I'm Funny.
There are LOTS of double edge swords in this life. For example:
There are LOTS of double edge swords in this life. For example:
- At work - employees are kind of like that. They are never happy! Not sure if you'd consider them a double edge sword or just never satisfied or always complaining - or maybe it's that MY job is UN-Thank-able. If that's a word. We just don't get recognized, I knew that and am okay with that, but we also only hear the complaints. A few months ago we started the "Weight Watchers At Work Program" and have several employees that go to that and are starting to be successful!! Sweet! And then on Tuesday we had a "Awards Program" and afterwards we had Leatherbys come and have an ice cream bar open for a couple hours. Employees should be pretty happy about these sweet "free" advantages - when we have free candy, or awards, or ice cream! I know they've missed our "troph" of food and free popcorn, etc. So, heck, it's ICE CREAM, right?? Yes!! Well, we even got a complaint about this...they said - "It seems a bit contradicting that you would offer/tempt us all with Ice Cream, when you know that you're also promoting the Weight Watchers program. How can you guys do that?" Are you serious?? HAHAH. It totally made me laugh! People people, either you want free stuff, but you want certain free stuff, and you still complain when we give you the free stuff. The napkins aren't soft enough, the coffee cups break, the ice cream - is a bad temptation! Dude, isn't life full of choices? And I think on Weight Watchers you could do ice cream and just use all your points right?? So, come on guys, just don't go down and stare at it then! Hilarious.
- Dating. Another double edge sword. So, either you WANT to have a boyfriend and there are just NO guys. At all. And you just keep wishing and searching and even maybe cry! OR... Then you actually GET called out, but the phone just keeps ringing and ringing. And there's 5 different boys asking you out. And maybe they all aren't ones you want! So, you feel torn and stressed and you keep hoping one is right... you cry again! No matter what - you aren't really getting what you want and either way you're crying. Or I'm crying. Haha. Stupid dating!! Oh, okay. It's good. It's really good. I mean, it's "the way". It's how I'm going to save myself from living alone and being the "cat lady" in the neighborhood. And I hate cats, so hopefully I don't have to have that fate! Actually on the dating front, I've been stressed but just keep protecting my little heart. So, it hasn't been too bad. But now I think I've got to let go a bit and take more chances. We'll see what happens...
- Desserts - yes, another double edge. It just tastes so good! And makes me so happy. That ice cream at work, was just heaven with that hot fudge... But, 20 minutes after the fact - I didn't feel so hot. Plus, I probably gained 4 lbs from that crap dripping in sauce. Oh well, maybe since I couldn't eat anything the rest of the day, I lost a bit of it...
Okay - there are tons that are popping in my head, but I'll save you from the rest for now. Just wanted to share a few stories/thoughts from the week that just keep cracking me up. The crazy employees here are just so funny!! Honestly. Sometimes it'd be nice to just get a bit of appreciation or love or...oh well. Peace out.

My hollow muscular organ
Yesterday I received the best question by a sweet new found friend in my ward:
"Andrea, how's your heart?"
And maybe the really good part, was the way her sincere eyes seemed to be looking into my soul - and really caring. It's like those friends you've had forever that really care and know you. Or your parents or something like that. Hard to describe I guess. I don't know that this girl and I will be best friends - - - but she sure did make my day. I don't even know if she knows my life too well or the path I'm traveling on. But the one thing I know, she cared for me right then!

I pass all of that on to you sincerely. I really like this question. It's so much better than - How are you? What's up? (dawg...yes, I say that still) How has your week been? Etc Etc. These questions I just easily reply - Good, fine, awesome, etc. But it doesn't mean anything. Really, to either person, most of the time - it's just a courteous act. Which, don't get me wrong, is a good thing to do. Shows respect and acknowledgement. But, if we really cared, maybe we'd ask a more sincere question. Or a question that follows up from the previous conversation you had with that person.
How's your heart? - That could mean so many things. It could reference love, pain, dating, life, your children who make your heart so big, the job that you just can't find yet. These life changing - good and bad - experiences affect our hearts and sometimes it's good to be able to share that. And this reminded me of a movie I saw not too long ago (Chasing Liberty - yes, some random Mandy Moore show) - where the mom asks her daughter the same question and she says - It's a little bit broken. Man, I totally can relate to that. But the good part about this great muscle of an organ - our Heart - is it'll heal. Yeah, day to day it'll get bigger and won't hurt as much. Then something will happen and we'll realize that we hurt again. Heck, it's for our experience though right? Yep. Glad I have a heart. Which reminds me of another movie...Oz. Good thing we don't have to wish for a heart. We're so blessed. And we should use that heart to bless others too huh? (Side note - how come most of my posts have some sort of moral story or a Go and gett'em feeling?? - why can't I just write a good story? - Is it a mission thing? - Or maybe I just think this way?? I don't know that I even like it!) (Side note to myself - Just write something w/out thinking And. Come on. hah)
Okay so when I went to title this post I decided to do a little dictionary search of the word heart. I don't listen too much in health since I have Vasovegosyncopi (no idea how to spell that one...faint at blood for those who aren't doctors) - so I guess I had too google Heart? Interesting description though, we could all ponder on it for awhile I bet, I personally like #5 and #6. I also was going to put up a picture, but when I googled Heart - it's kinda gross, a lot had real pictures of hearts, or a painting of a girl who had ripped out a heart from her lover, etc. So, I'll spare you the gore. Just imagine...
Heart:
1a: a hollow muscular organ of vertebrate animals that by its rhythmic contraction acts as a force pump maintaining the circulation of the blood. b: a structure in an invertebrate animal functionally analogous to the vertebrate heart. c: breast, bosom. d: something resembling a heart in shape
2a: a playing card marked with a stylized figure of a red heart.
3a: personality, disposition <>
4: the emotional or moral as distinguished from the intellectual nature: as a: generous disposition : compassion <> b: Love, affections. c: courage, ardor
5: one's innermost character, feelings, or inclinations
6a: the central or innermost part. b: the essential or most vital part of something
Sorry for my lack of posting - it kinda describes the last few weeks I guess. But I'm sure I have some good, funny stories, so I'll get crackin and post this week.

50/50 chance

So I filled out a bracket this morning - for March Madness!! I've never done one before, but have had several friends do this over the years. Well, today at work I was told I had 20 minutes and that I needed to sign up. So, I did. Do you think I picked the winners?? Heck YES!! Okay - wow, I'm being optimistic...because I have no idea what teams are good, who are likely to win, or even where some of these teams are and had now 15 minutes to do it all. But, I finished my picking in record time - like 5 minutes. I kinda felt like I was back in school..... there I was sitting in class and the teacher pulls out a pop quiz/test over the reading/lecture. And I grab the test and have NO IDEA what the answers are. I am overjoyed to see that at least 80% are multiple choice, so I have some percentage at getting it right. And then for the fill in the blanks - I would write some random finance/business term that maybe could fit? The class I'm imagining was one of my worst classes - Business Risk Management. We took these "quizzes" every lecture, and it was always on current events or lectures, etc. This was my least favorite class ever!! Oh gosh, I really don't know how I sat in it for 1.5 hours 2 times a week. Lectures were bad, and then the quizzes were worse. They were the ones that no matter if you read or not, I wouldn't get them right. So, I gave up studying ever and just hoped for the best. Sad!! I think I have a better chance at my bracket than with those tests. I have 50/50 right? At least for each game... but overall, a LOT less - too bad I don't feel like doing that math, or I'd tell you my chances :) Instead I'll be sitting at work, watching my brackets, and just so happy because I'm not in school anymore and I don't have that stupid class or stupid quizzes. Another little blessing of graduating!! Go March Madness!! (The blue font is for BYU!! Go BYU...although I didn't pick you to win it all... guess I'm not that loyal, but I did pick U of U to get further...haha...the things I do now that I'm in Murray...)

Sticky Thoughts

You know how people say "Not a day goes by that I don't think of my mission"? Well sometimes I feel that there's not a day that goes by when I'm not thinking of a boy. HAHAH. Tis true. It could be that I'm excited to get a phone call from a certain someone to see if he wants to do a 2nd date... Or maybe I'm happily dating a boy and wanting to show how I care for him, etc. Or it could be that I dated this guy and it's over and he's stupid but I still can't get him out of my head. Or maybe it's a potential future boy that I don't know yet. Or someone who's a friend but could be more. Okay... these are all scenarios I could be having. And I guess I won't share what is stuck in my head NOW... sorry.
Am I crazy? Am I obsessing a bit too much? What if he just won't go away?? If it's about a boy that's good - it's not okay because then I usually get myself worked up or psyched out a bit too much or something. If it's about a stupid boy it's not good - because it ruins future decisions of actually liking boys. etc.

And you know how whatever you think about the most - you are? So does this mean I am a boy? Or I'm a person who's not satisfied? Or I'm bitter? Or I'm hopeful for the next call? Or - - - I just need a life?? Yeah. I know. I need a life. I'll try to work on that. Sounds like the best idea. Help me get rid of these thoughts!! Anyone - ideas?
