Decided it was time for me to set some goals again. Obviously these are just the non-personal ones, but still good to remember :) And to be honest, some of these goals have been on my list for 2-3 years!!! And I'm still not doing them. There's gotta be something wrong, or I need some new motivation. Hoping that posting these will at least be a way for me to see and start physically crossing them off my list. Any suggestions?
- Get our bedroom "beautified". So this is a new goal, and we are currently working on this, but right now the bedroom is a mis-match of random things, and not even a bed frame except the wired one. We also need a duvet and some other items, so this is a big one and $$ but it's gonna happen this year.
- Edit our wedding video. This comes AFTER I get all these other projects done, sad.
- Clean off my desk. This one is continual, when we clean up the other rooms, my desk gets to keep all the random stuff and then I find a place for it. I need a better system, so that's part of this goal, as well as just taking the extra books, boxes and filing system and finding a different home for those.
- Clean off my jump drives/back them up. I have like 10 jump drives that I need to just put all on my hard drive, been working on this in the past, not done.
- Also back up my computer. I need to do this with all my pics on my computer and docs - put on hard drive.
- Also back up my music. I have so many CD's and even mp3 from old computers but I can't access the music - I need to put on the hard drive or somewhere...
- Create our vacation photo book, with several of our vacations.
- Finish our engagement, wedding & honeymoon photo book.
- Read my Scriptures. A little bit more and more awake...
- Deep Clean the house. So I heard this and want to start - deep clean one room a month!
- Sew. Fix the 7-10 mending projects, this is just the start of the goal "sew". ... Completed March 2012
- Buy bookshelves for our office. Requires $$.
- Learn how to us a DSLR. Also requires $$ as I want to buy one someday, at least when we have kiddos because that's something I'll want to remember.
- Put all of our recipes in one area and organize so it's easily used. I even have a binder for this and typed up many of my recipes in the right sections, but nothing has happened yet.
- DI project. Go through more keepsakes and DI items that I don't need anymore.
- Get a credit card that gives me more REWARDS - aka flight miles, free money, etc. I've had my credit card for almost 10 years and racking up the rewards points really has taken me forever and its not really that beneficial. I need some free flights!! Any suggestions??? I've heard the AMEX gold is good or the Delta AMEX or Southwest, but leaning towards AMEX gold as it will work with any airline...

I just got a thing that gives my friends something like 20,000 free miles if you sign up using it. I'll email it to you. :) I have flown to DC and Seattle for free with my points from last year!
