Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to us!!! And also Happy Valentine's Day!!!
We had LOVE going on all week here... yay! Okay but for reals, David had like 2 tests last week, I had crazy work and feeling sicko so we were just happy to have some time away from all that crapy-ness. Our anniversary is on February 12, so this year the date reads 2/12/12 - ahhh. 2/12 was a Sunday so instead of celebrating it ahead, we are celebrating over President's Day weekend. And actually when we got married 2/12 was the Friday of President's weekend so hey, it works right? So for the actual day we did normal events and visited the Speirs and Clarks for a bit after church. On Monday David brought home a dozen roses. And "dozen" as he pointed out works really well for our 2/12/12 theme huh? Kudos baby.
We've decided to swap planning for these 2 celebrations, so this year I have the Anniversary and David has Valentine's Day. I have a lot planned, too many ideas actually, and I need to narrow them down t-o-d-a-y. Yep. It'll happen. For Valentine's Day, Tuesday evening David took us out for dinner at a new restaurant called Pizza Limone. We've heard good things, similar to our favorite Italian pizza, etc. and the last 2 years we actually tried new restaurants too, so tradition remains. I was surprised but very happy as I've been cravin me some Italian lately. We went home and opened gifts from each other. I gave in to David's addiction and gave him hearts, M&M's and other candy, as well as Cream Soda glasses. The one that will be the most work was also "I Love You" coupons from me to him with about 8 different activities he can get from me - massage, candlight dinner, picnic, nintendo time, etc. David gave me the flowers and then some chocolates I've been eyeing all winter, yum! Pics below...
Our pizzas!!
So now this weekend we are celebrating and I'll put some pictures up from that soon. Not to be rude but don't call, text, visit, write (okay you can write us cuz that won't arrive till next week) us because we're going to be out celebrating!! It's a surprise for David so we'll just leave it at that for now. And of course it's nothing too big as we still have school and work to be here for, but even just 3 days off is awesome.
