- Starting to eat from our plates - Jimmy Johns was his first, then stuff such as bananas, watermelon, potatoes, rice, Easter ham, etc.
- Also had his first yogurt with oatmeal, applesauce, peas, peaches - and the yogurt and oatmeal finally works and he's liking breakfast food. Mid-April Tyson is figuring out jarred food a bit more and can really pack it in if he wants.
- Around April 14 Tyson has really started to scoot or "army crawl". He has continued to do this all month and basically can get everywhere and into everything that way so he doesn't necessarily need to full crawl. By the end of April he crawls on the hardwood floor all over.
- Tyson is now (4/17) able to sit up in his crib before sleeping and just plays - oh no, what do I do? We just let him play till he eventually falls asleep. He's also getting up on all fours (4/19) and even pulled the floor lamp down (4/18) so we are making sure to be watching.
- Waving! Not on command but man it's so cute when it happens - usually in the mirror or when we look out the windows.
- First Easter! Loves playing with the eggs (they had puffs in them) and got a few other toys.
- He's still very shy with family and takes awhile to warm up - usually just stares at whoever is holding him or visiting - or may cry if he's not comfortable with them.
- We are still doing 3 naps a day but they are getting shorter and shorter and he's not as happy when he goes down. Meaning he needs more sleep again maybe but I'm not sure we are ready to go to 2 naps yet.
- Beginning of May Tyson can pull himself to his knees on our low TV table and the first stair. He also likes now as we have started to walk around the house with him, holding his arms. He's a bit awkward but loves it.
- Stretching or reaching to the sky with both arms - so cute! This only happened for a week or two.
- He LOVES: praying before food and saying amen or something similar, loves us chasing him around the house and up/down stairs - he just giggles. He loves the bath still, and is now really into matchbox cars since we gave him one at Easter. He really loves us reading to him (besides the nap/bed reading) and he cries when we put the books away. He also likes the big red exercise ball down where Dad studies.
- Two not so fun parts - Tyson may have a food allergy but not sure, just extra constipation, and then Mom has been having painful nursing off and on for a couple weeks, sad us.
- 9 month appt on 5/12 - 19 lbs 8 oz, 27 and 3/4 inches long, 45.1 cm head (20th percentile for height and weight, 40th for head)

Tyson: 9 months
9 months in and now 9 months out as of May 9, 2014! Wow what a sweet boy we have. His personality just shines more and more each day. It makes me so happy to see him smiling, learning, babbling and loving us. We are so lucky, I think that every day. Here's what Tyson has been up to this last month:
