Meeting Santa - At our ward dinner Santa visited and Tyson had been looking forward to it for days, and then while there waited in line for like 45 min I swear... and once we got up to talk with him - he FLIPPED out. Crying, holding on to David, not at all wanting to get close. We were curious how he'd be and yep, not a fan. He finally accepted a candy cane and I was just busting up and trying to take pictures - David explained that Santa was really Bud Spencer (his favorite nursery leader) so he had to go back quick and said bye and understood a bit more. Hilarious and one to remember.
Making Trees - One of our Christmas crafts that Tyson got to play with, besides all the bottom ornaments on our tree ;)
Gingerbread Cookies - Okay David is the pro at gingerbread cookies. Seriously. If I'm remembering right, he made these pretty much all himself. I decorated ;) hah. Rolling it all out and all that, just takes awhile - plus cooking it just right - not as easy as it looks. Tyson loved the little guys and we had yummy cookies for a good while.
SNOW!! Right before Christmas we got some snow! Perfect for David, he loves that, so we love it. And we took Tyson pseudo sledding in our backyard :) We got all dressed up in our non-snow clothes and just got wet and played - made a snowman and snowballs and then David ran up and back pulling Tyson around on the sled. He loved that. But our fingers got freezing and wet pretty quick so we came in, stripped down, and warmed up.
More on Christmas in another post :) Yay for December, not ready for cold January and February - ever. Here's to 2016!
