Treasure Hunt

One day I came home from work to find the house looking totally different than I left it.  David has evening classes and sometimes on Wednesday's he gets to come home and study.  Well one day while at home he was very busy, but not with studying.  He spoils me crazy!


David left me a sweet note telling me to have dinner, relax, put my feet up and watch TV or a movie or something.


He did the dishes!


He cleaned the house up!


He bought our vacuum a new bag and then vacuumed the whole house!


He left me little notes - one on the table to my computer, to his computer, to the bathroom mirror, to a drawer and finally to a Take 5 candy bar!  (my favorite candy! and I just love notes)


It really was the best to come home to that.  If only he was there too - but he did come home and we relaxed together.  Really, I don't deserve him, but I'm just so glad he picked me.  Sometimes all I do is work and then come home and work and go to bed.  I forget about dishes or laundry and he's right there to help out all the time.  Hopefully someday when I'm at home more I'll figure out how to be normal wife huh?  But I do like that we share responsibilities the way we do.  I hope I do my part, sometimes I just can't tell, but I try :)
