Tyson: 5 months

Can't believe Tyson is already 5 months old as of 1/9/14!  He's growing up so fast, and still oh so fun.  Here's what he's been up to this past month:

• Tyson is now biting or sucking on his bottom lip
• And talking when his lip is being sucked on making new sounds
• He's been much more interested in his head, ears, feet and grabbing his pants and showing a little leg too
• First roadtrip! 12 hours to AZ and back
• And has visited his 2nd state (Arizona)
• And met Everts relatives and Burns relatives
• When semi-reclined he can pull himself up almost, but can't hold himself there
• We haven't done as much tummy time, but he's fine if he's not hungry or tired - if he is then he really doesn't want to be on the floor
• Everything is still ending up in Tyson's mouth if he can grab it
• Loving my hair - grabbing and pulling
• Tyson is way into touching my neck, chin, shirt while eating - and while sometimes it's soft and sweet, usually he's grabbing and digging his nails in - ouch!
• Had his first prune juice and soon after roadtrip blowout
• When reading books Tyson is getting good at holding the sides of the books
• Getting interested in food - not necessarily eating it yet, but just watching us eat it and loves noisy food like chips
• Baby's First Christmas: Tyson can kind of pull off the wrapping paper and then it ends up in his mouth as that was what he liked best.  He is enjoying all his new toys, he has a bunch of little things to put in his mouth mostly or lay down in.
• 12/31/13 Tyson rolled over!  And hasn't done it since.  He did do it 4 times on 12/31 and once on 1/1 and we got it on camera - but it seems like it scared him and he hasn't ventured it again yet.
• Started using a highchair in the kitchen and loving it
• Wearing 3 or 3-6 month clothes, size 1 diapers are really getting tight
• Probably 14 pounds?
