Can't forget AZ trip

We knew we were a little crazy to go to Arizona in the beginning of the summer, but we did it anyway.  Had to see our new niece, Havynn Maeve Everts.  Born Jan 8, we missed seeing her as a baby baby, but at least she was only about 5 months old.  We flew in on May 30 and stayed till June 2, and yep, it hit 110 degrees about the whole time we were there.  Yikes!  Good thing we were inside mostly and it didn't seem too bad.

It really was a quick trip with Havynn as our #1 priority.  Although we still got to see all the family and had an enjoyable time.  Havynn is just adorable.  She is tiny, don't let the pictures fool you - those chunky cheeks are all that are pudgy - and so cute.  She has her daddy and mommy wrapped around her finger - and also is pretty high maintenance.  I hope she eventually lets them sleep longer than a couple hours at night.  Stubborn girl, they have their hands full, but just look at her. Awe.

Tyson wasn't as interested in Havynn as she was in him.  She is full of smiles and definitely gave some to Tyson.  Cute cousins!
They even went swimming for their first times, together!  We swam, had a BBQ and Tyson tried to nap there.  Poor guy was really messed up on his sleeping this trip.
Umm Tyson's hair is getting way long, good thing it will (has been) cut!  Look at that sticking up!
So fun E&A have a pool! We may have stayed in the shade, but how fun.  And their 3 dogs - Tyson wasn't sure what to think and didn't warm up to them too much but now he's woof-ing a bit at other dogs when he sees them.

Sunday we went with Dad & Diane to church and hung with them all day.  We tried for impromptu pictures outside, hot hot, and by Sunday Tyson was just out of sorts missing naps (just crying through them) and too many new people.  So we tried a few photos outside but the rest below are just of the kiddos playing together before/after eating.

Max was adorable with Tyson, giving hugs and kisses, awe.  And then the newest nephew, or Tyson's other cousin, Roc, also got some play time together.  They are only a month or so apart so it was fun to see them somewhat interact or just play with the same toys at the same time ;)  Roc, is a cuddly boy and about 2x the size of Tyson - and has such a sweet smile and personality.  When Ty and Hayvnn were crying he was just smiling away at us all.  He must be the 3rd child huh?
Loved watching all the boys interact.
The above picture never worked - melt down by T and then H.
And below a few more tries at a picture, pretty good I'd say.
Matchy matchy

The last day we all got together before Eric headed to work and did some pictures of grandma and her 2 new grandkids.  That was - umm - fun :)
Sure did love holding this girl.  Ty got jealous at the end.
We also said goodbye to Baba at his office, that meant we visited him there twice this trip!  Again Tyson was just ready to be done, but he cooperated well enough when he was given the cell phone - yep Tyson won that one :)

Until next time everyone!  Thanks for a great weekend and here's to next time being not summer and with a boy hopefully less tired and grumpy.  Thanks Havynn for bringing us to visit!
