24th of July

We found a new favorite holiday

Not like Halloween or Christmas, but a fun one none the less

Last year and this year we've gone to celebrate with the Clarks

And have stayed much later than usual

Past the little guy's bedtime

And maybe this is bad to say, but this holiday isn't big enough for too much family

So it's just us and the Clarks, which makes it more special for us

We bought some POPs and Sparklers, such a hit!

Tyson loved the Pops, the sparklers took a little getting used to

The sun doesn't go down till 10, but by 7/8 we were out waiting

Doing the few fireworks and sparklers we could

Eating popsicles - perfect summer day

Tyson is a mini David and I just love this photo exchange between them here...

We waited out on the front lawn

Everyone enjoyed playing with our little Ty guy

He got "rock-a-bye baby" from Grandma and wrestled with Grandpa

It's so sweet to see how much they love him

As the sun set, the blasts were right by us, or actually our fireworks too!

David got us some that said low bang but man it was loud ;)

And a few houses on either side were lighting up the sky too

Tyson lasted pretty well but we knew when he was done

And we drove home watching the fireworks from the car

Just a special day for us 3
