Yay for Halloween!!! It was a fun filled trick-or-treat week! Having a toddler allowed me to find a few other events and share with Tyson to "practice" the whole getting candy and being around lots of people thing. And we couldn't go to our ward trunk or treat and I was totally bummed so I had to fill the week with something to fill that.
Library sing/story time - Since we go weekly, Tyson enjoyed seeing his teacher along with some other teachers dress up as witches and sing halloween songs. So many kids! But he liked the parade of costumes and said hi to his teacher.
New hospital trick-or-treating in Taylorsville - Well it was crazy packed, but we got to go up close to an ambulance, helicopter, fire truck and such. Just a good excuse to practice and had fun as me and my buddy.
Gardner Village - Find the Witches - Well that was fun! Tyson was so afraid of them at first but he finally got that they weren't going to do anything and he wanted to hold the pencil and paper. Best treat was seeing Brooke and getting some sweets for finding them all ;)
Holly's school carnival - As tradition, we picked David up from school (showed him off a bit) and then headed
31st Trick-or-treat - We went to the Clarks as usual for trick or treating. Dinner before and then out and about with the kids. The older kids are getting too old so it was mostly all of us escorting Tyson around. At first he was shy but he totally got the hang of it and loved getting candy, even would grab two if they said. He didn't always say trick or treat and his door knock was so little but it was fun. Lots of other bigger kids or groups so we would get swallowed up by that but everyone thought he was adorable - yep of course! We only hit the one street and diff kids or Grandma Clark came for the last half too - Tyson loved sharing her light up rings and having her hold his stuff haha :)
