Thoughts on some hardships right now.... (as of early April 2015)
Possibly moving
Yep we are. Our rental townhome is up for sale, yet again. And we were under the assumption they were letting us stay 2 years and it was a 2 year contract, but there was a loop hole. Of course! Bummer. Although we feel like maybe we need to be somewhere else. Last year I was digging my nails in our house saying I would do anything to stay, but I guess the fancy or rose colored glasses wear off after awhile right?
I've been looking and still looking and haven't found the perfect place for us, or anything remotely close. Where are all the good rentals? We're in short supply! We have till 5/31 or possibly later depending on if we go month to month and the house isn't sold yet. I watch KSL for rentals like every hour. Talk about a waste of my time and reminder of the stress all the time!
Work stress and balancing life
So it's sad to say but yet again, my work is stressin me out. Always too much and more to do and I really can only put in 25 hours a week at most. It seems like most weeks I'd love to quit, but it's not in the cards just yet. And so I'm just stuck trying to balance and sometimes I'm good, yet not always.
I realized the other day that I have a really good work memory, and yet the rest lacks sometimes. I put my best efforts into this job, and it's not like I have any ownership. I would like to just sit back and relax sometimes but I guess that's just not me. Me controller, delegator, give my opinion person :) I wouldn't have imagined this soon after college graduation. The work setting I was quiet, nice and just optimistic. Now I really don't hold back, and that's just fine with me as long as I don't get myself fired! But I think I'm doing good work for now so hopefully not ;)
Worry/planning for the worst
Nothing to write too much about but I just am a worst case scenario type and also just been afraid of that worst case for uh, ever? I've been having D and I put together some living wills, wills, and just trying to be better organized that way. I still need a lot of help getting it all done, and I feel like if I do something to prepare for it, then maybe I'd stop worrying or fearing it to happen as much?
Enjoying today, not waiting for what we want next
This is kind of always my theme but yet again I've been reminded the last couple months that it's time to just enjoy what we have and stop planning, or hoping, like there's more coming. And with this little Ty guy around how can I wish for much else? He sure is my little buddy all day and I'm loving that I get to see him all day every day. Yeah sometimes it's hard or boring or he's whining all day but then he does something either just so sweet and melts me, or he cracks me up with something so silly. He forgives me always and I just try better each day.
Watching others have super hard trials
So David's family has some pretty major trials always coming there way. One specifically going on for the last 2 years. While several others get thrown at them all the time too. We are all praying for a miracle and helping every way possible. Just not sure when that sun is going to come for them! It's like we all are struggling with them. A little bit of a faith shaker, but at the same time, I just keep trying to have hope. God knows best. Gotta keep believing.
PS, Tyson and I have found a good stress reliever --- Dancing!! It works ;)

Day to Day This Spring
It's been a lovely spring, not too cold so we've been able to get out. Here are some pics from my phone Feb-April.
Allergy Testing - poor Tyson has had a rash for over 6 months so we saw an allergist and he's got sensitive skin with eczema, but mostly due to household products. Things are looking up with all the lotions and new skin routine.
Creativity - Finger paint, Playdough - this was our first time! Tyson was a little hesitant but loved it in the end ;) I was successful at keeping him not too messy, go me.
Wheeler Farm / Parks - with the nice weather we were able to get out several times. Tyson has started to enjoy picking up sticks and now finally LOVES swings, and slides, yay!!
Zoo - we went with Megan to the zoo two times already! Tyson is quiet but loves it.
Shopping (sunglasses) - Love my little buddy who's a good shopping partner!
Around the house - I have so many more pictures than the below but just some fun we have.

Spring Break 2015
March 2 - March 6
We were lucky to get a whole week with D, no school and no studying!! It was early in March, but hey we'll take it anytime. I was bummed it was a cold week because for the 2 weeks before and the week after it was nice and warm, but we found things to do inside or visiting places.
Tyson was excited to have him home and to have us both around to just play or explore where we took him.
We planned to go to the Disney Store at City Creek and buy Tyson a Mickey, he was so excited, and once he held him, wouldn't let him go. We also found the play places in that mall and also at Murray and South Towne Mall on other days. We visited target in a big snow storm, went to the Clark Planetarium and explored the moon/mars. David got out our dental playdough set and he and Tyson went nuts with it, they had a lot of fun!
And then every night D and I just hung out, watched shows, played or also tried to organize a little but mostly relaxed and enjoyed time with each other. Didn't find a babysitter but it was nice to just be home too.

Month of LOOVVEEE
We love February because while it's "Valentine's Day" I think our anniversary just adds a bit and for me I like to just extend the LOVE as long as I can.
Got Tyson some heart magnets and I gave him a new one every day till the 14th. He loved it and it was a great activity of counting too, he's up to 10 and now 15 even!!! He also knows what a heart shape is too. We wrote some valentines for grandparents and tried to tie in the LOVE when we could ;)
You can see how our Valentine's Day played out from the below, but a bit more detail - it was nice it was on a Saturday, and also my turn to plan. We relaxed at home most of the day - pancakes, presents, etc. Tyson got some stuffed animals that he loves and a ball that we can play outside with as it's getting warmer (crazy no winter here this season!?) Then we headed to sushi for dinner, brought Tyson along too ;) Funny because he hated it, we got him potstickers but he just wasn't having it, so it was surely a dinner to remember. Also the place I planned was booked so we found another place which was cheap and way good. We picked up Autumn to babysit and I took David out for some ice skating. A memory from our honeymoon as we did that to celebrate Valentine's when we were in Midway. It has been a couple years and it was way crowded so glad D put up with me ;)
Happy LOVE month. Sad to see it go already! Love my 2 Valentines ;)
