Honeymooners

It's honeymoon time!!! So, we've had 2, yes TWO, honeymoons so far since we've been married :). #1 was Park City in the snow. #2 was California Disneyland & Newport Beach!!

At Park City we watched and walked in the snow, went ice skating, had a Valentine's Day dinner, went to the outlet mall, and had a great break from regular life. It was a great weekend to have time for David & me. Here are some pics:
About 5 weeks later during David's spring break we flew to Cali for a whole week!!! I had a few days planned for Anaheim with 1 day at Disneyland as well as a few days at Newport Beach about 20 minutes away. Disneyland was 1st. We didn't have a car, so we walked to a ghetto Mexican market to stock up on food, walked to church the next day, walked all over in downtown Disney. Then the next day I followed David's advice to get up early as we ran from ride to ride at Disneyland. We basically hit all the rides we wanted to by 10:30am. No way! We still rode a bunch other and then went to the Blue Bayou (Pirates) Restaurant as our expensive dinner. It was great to share with David the fun family tradition of pirates food and now our new tradition of sorts. We rested for a bit and headed back for the evening rides and the fireworks show. I was completely worn out by the end. My knee/foot had been hurting since we got there and basically it only got worse even when we got to Newport Beach. But it was wonderful to be on total vacation where we could also just relax and not have any cares.
We picked up our rental car and headed to the beach! Got there just in time to watch the sunset as we dipped our feet into the sand. Awe... perfect. We found the Newport shopping mall, found the Balboa Island and Peninsula to walk around on and check out the frozen bananas and little shops. We also had planned for a seafood dinner, and I took David to a place right on the water. It was perfect with my fish & chips and his seafood gumbo. I sure didn't want to leave our little vacation place, but school and work needed us. We headed home and still had the weekend to relax and catch up on all our errands. It was great to come back and still have a bit of time before it all got hectic again. I sure love my David. It was a great vacation... it's so amazing to realize that I'll get to vacation with him forever now. We have many more Disneyland's and other trips to take with us and our future family :)
