Last Sunday I spent a few hours at my cousin Steph's house - doing the family thing :) I think I've said it a few times on here, but it sure is nice to be close to them!!
Well, Sarah, her 9 year old daughter was sitting at the table with us and I said something funny, I thought, but I can't necessarily remember, so I'll make my part up:
Me : "Sarah, you should eat your food or it's going to be sad that you didn't like it... hA HA ha!!"
Sarah looked at me with a puzzled face - thinking ???
Steph : "Andrea means LOL"
Sarah : "AHhhh... hahahhaha! Funny!!"
What is this world coming to today??? They don't know a joke unless you say "LOL" ??? I'm sure I said something that was funnier than the above, but I can't remember. But either way I laughed more at the response and that Steph knew what to say to help Sarah get it. It's times like these when I feel old...
