Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween!!  Seriously what a great day :-)  D had a morning class cancel so we were able to go out to breakfast!  Hello yes, new tradition, right?!  And no less, Kneaders was his choice, one of my faves.  Tyson enjoyed staring umm smiling at the neighboring table lady. Haha.

That day Tyson dawned his skeleton outfit and by night we got him ready in his costume, Captain America, of course!  The t-shirt I added the felt colors to a plain blue shirt (now looking back I wish I had used just cotton or something, felt isn't going to last or wash) - a little bit of craftiness but I waited to the last minute to get that part done.  I also made his shield from a frisbee and duck tape, and I felt proud of that part at least.  His hoodie we bought ;)

It still hasn't gotten cold here as of 10/31, which was great for the rest of the evening.  We were able to head to the Clarks for food and trick-or-treating.  We followed the kids around until they wanted to hang with their friends.  Tyson was so skeptical and shy at first but by the end he was sticking his hands out for more and more candy at each door.  And he didn't even know what he was gathering but hey he could hold onto it and melt it even haha, he always wanted a snickers in his hand.  Good choice bud.  I'm sure as he gets older he'll enjoy it even more but it was fun he could walk to the doors and knock at least and show off his costume.
