Tyson: 15 Months

Tyson turned 15 months on Nov 9, 2014.  Ah this little boy is just full of personality and such a joy.  He is happy, silly and already a great learner.  He's grown so much these past 3 months.  Here's a few fun memories:

  • We took lots of walks to see the train down the road this fall
  • Says up and down and puts his hands up and down while in the car
  • In Oct Tyson caught me swatting a bug in our house and we now and still do this thing when any of us say "get the bug" he fake swats the air and wants to get the fly swatter
  • Says please with everything, Daddy taught him well
  • Also talks gibberish minion talk instead of please sometimes
  • Learned how to pull one leg up and laughs about it
  • Has dexterity to put stuff in toilet roll or pen on cap
  • Smacks lips when I give kisses before naps
  • First big bump near his eye, Sept 19 - fell on our chair, it cleared up after a day
  • Exploring lots, meaning he doesn't always listen either
  • Says bye and waves to anything or nothing when we leave a room
  • SOOO many words! By 15 months he knows 70+ words
  • Started learning colors, body parts
  • Tyson loves to FT with Grandma Kathy - chats with her, plays with her and watches the bird
  • Attended his 3rd general conference
  • Loves to play hide and seek everywhere, A LOT
  • Mandibular left first molar coming in, #L
  • Loves halloween stuff - says boo, loves bones, says "spider" really cute
  • Was sweet to know Great Grandpa Clark and say goodbye, wave and point him out
  • Halloween costume - Captain America
  • Didn't like buying pumpkins
  • Got alphabet foams and saying some of the sounds and recognizing T and Y
  • He dances by stomping his feet, so cute
  • Says and acts out "cold" and "hot"
  • Says help when he needs something
  • He's got a few new toys and learning books that should keep him busy till Christmas
  • Always very excited when Daddy gets home
  • Helped make his first jello, and was good at learning that word
  • Eating like a champ with his silverware when he wants
  • Seems to be getting eczema, still struggling knowing how to treat fully
  • Favorite toys?  That's hard, so many! - His train (that now has batteries, hot wheel cars, his lawn mower, his pack and play with blankets, loves stirring things
  • Favorite food?  He still avoids bananas, and lots of fruits and veggies now.  We are trying to mix them in so he can't tell, but not the best permanent solution.  He loves cake haha, pasta, cheese, chicken nuggets and corn dogs, eggs with peppers, cereal - chex or cheerios, and most dinners but not taco soup.
