Happy 29th David

Happy Birthday David!!!

He turned 29, such a youngster! Coming from his wife, haha. He finished his dental boards, has 2 more weeks off of school, and the best holiday 2 days after his b-day --- that's gotta be already some great birthday presents ;)

But at least I have been looking forward to his b-day and watching him open presents and enjoy a day without having to plan much.  He didn't have any wants, so I just put together a fun day for all of us together amidst Tyson's naps and such...

For the morning we just stayed in, helped Dada open presents, and had lunch.

We surprised D with indoor swimming at the Murray Rec Center!  Almost thought it was a bust since apparently babies have to have this plastic cover thing but luckily they sold them there.  Tyson was pretty hesitant at first, I mean, besides it being like a sauna, you also have to wash before entering and tossing him in a shower in an unfamiliar place, not cool for anyone really.  But after a round or two in the lazy river Tyson was ready to go around and around!  He enjoyed being on his belly or back and just wanted to make sure Dada or Mama were both close by, not just one of us.  He loved it and it was very fun and I think David loved it too - he loves swimming and said that was a first for him swimming in the winter ;)

After a break at home we headed back out to check out Scheels and then dinner.  If we had more time we would have rode ferris wheel or gotten some Gelato or something besides just wandering around looking at stuffed animals and fish and such.  But it was hopefully okay and different.  Dinner we went to Five Guys so D could get some of his favorite food, funny we hadn't been there together before.  Tyson enjoyed it as well.

Shayla is a rockstar friend, as usual, and came and stayed with Tyson while he was sleeping so I could take David out to see the Hobbit Part 3 and finish our run with seeing this on his b-day.  It was nice to go out and relax and be together.  We need more dates!!

Well, can't end this post without saying how much I love David.  So lucky to have him and glad I could hopefully celebrate and spoil him a little.  Love you D!  Happy Birthday :)
