Thanksgiving 2014

November went faster than we wanted!  David has been VERY busy at school.  So many classes, like 30 credits, and lots of 1 hr classes makes for so much to study - not hard stuff always, just too much to study in a 24 hour day.  BUT the great part, is that he actually finished the semester this week!  He gets a month off to study and take his first part of dental boards.  So now that finals are over, on to the next bigger thing.  Ty and I are just home bodies, but luckily it's still been a warm fall so we have been able to still get outside some days.  And me work during naps and such.

We were so thrilled for a 4 day weekend!!  Especially with D home.

Thanksgiving we went to Jan's first.  It was a quiet lunch, but Tyson enjoyed all the food there, especially the green beans.  We had to eat and run as then we headed to the Clarks.  With belly's more than half full we proceeded for meal #2.  Tyson wasn't as interested but loved just playing afterwards.  It was a long day without a 2nd nap.  Food and company was nice though.  Tyson met the dancing santa and seriously he LOVES him.  Like could have been entertained for hours, almost was, kind of love.  He would dance right along with him, adorable.

Friday we headed to Benihana for lunch as the tradition goes.  Tyson was out of sorts because we had to wake him up from his nap to get there in time.  He cuddled with Grandma Clark until the food was ready.  But he was interested in the chefs and then the food, of course!  Yum.  That place is such a treat every year.  We went home and started decorating for Christmas more... the tree was a beast this year.  Took us 2 days because some of the light strands kept going out.  Yuck.  Tyson was napping most of our decorating time so he'd just find new stuff up each time.

He loves the Nutcracker and makes a chomping sound to imitate him.  He loves his small snowman and penguin and we have sang the Snowman song way too many times.  And he's been very interested in the tree, but not destructive, great!  He has his own "T" ornament that he can take off and put on and that works for now.  He loves the lights of course too ;)

Here's to a great month coming - please don't go too fast, but I know it always does...
